Didapati keseluruhan fail FCO dan DEFE yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 2009 adalah sebanyak 48 buah fail. Lebih kurang 2,784 lembaran dokumen (daripada 37 buah fail FCO dan DEFE) telah dibuat penyalinan untuk kegunaan penyelidikan dan rujukan. Bagaimanapun, fail-fail tersebut tidak semuanya boleh diakses kepada orang ramai walaupun ianya telah sampai tempoh 30 tahun. Didapati sebanyak 11 buah fail khususnya FCO yang sepatutnya sudah sampai masanya dikeluarkan telah dilanjutkan ditahan untuk tempoh 40 tahun akan datang  sehingga tahun 2049 seperti fail-fail berikut:
